It had the aim at studying, designing, developing and validating a new advanced system infrastructure for adding value and supporting innovative business models for Application Service Provision (ASP), based on the concepts of collaborative Virtual Organizations. GRASP project (IST-2001-35464) has been funded in the frame of the IST 2001, 5th FWP (Fifth Framework Programme), under the subprogramme Area: Cross Programme Actions (CPA) - CPA12: "Application services provision".

The project began on April 2002 and successfully ended on January 2005 (The official final review took place on 30th March 05).
